Purchase Your Cap & Gown (required)

This is required to participate in the VRHS graduation ceremony; order online from Balfour.
The deadline to order your cap and gown before the price goes up was February 8th.

May 5, 2021: Cap, Gown and Honor Cord Distribution Day 5:00pm - 7:00pm.

We want to shine a spotlight on each and every senior as we get closer to graduation
We would like all seniors to submit a photo and some information for us to share on our campus social media
This submission link will also be included in our VRHS Insiders and on the VRHS homepage.

April 22, 2021: Deadline to report Senior Scholarships for Senior Awards Ceremony.
Scholarship Reporting Form (2020-2021) and College Acceptance & Military Enlistment Reporting Form (2020-2021)

May 1st: Senior Movie Night - no entrance fee
VRHS Parking lot opens at 7:00 pm, movie starts around 8:15 pm

Each Senior can bring 1 guest. Complete the
Guest Approval Form by April 28th.
Bring a lawn chair to sit in parking lot.
Food trucks on site with food available for purchase.
Senior event ONLY.


May 1st: Sign the Project Graduation commitment form by May 1st to participate in the Project Graduation Raffle.

May 5th: Cap, Gown and Honor Cord Distribution Day
4:30 pm - 6:30 pm in the Vista Ridge High School Parking Lot.
4:30-5:00 pm- Last names A-D
5:00-5:30 pm- Last names E-K
5:30-6:00 pm- Last names L-P
6:00-6:30 pm- Last names Q-Z
*Students who are unable to pick up their items during their scheduled time above may still come during another time slot between 4:30-6:30 PM.
*All remaining items can be picked up from the VRHS main office beginning May 6th at 8:15am

May 12th: Senior Awards Ceremony 7:00 pm at Gupton Stadium
*Parents/Guardians of students being recognized will receive an invitation to Senior Awards.*
The Class of 2021's achievements will be recognized during Senior Awards.
Several awards will be presented, including awards for
scholarship offers & military enlistments.

May 25th: Project Graduation Raffle Prize pickup.
All Project Graduation Raffle Prizes MUST be picked up between 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Vista Ridge High School.

May 25th: Senior Parade at will start in the VRHS parking lot at 7:00 pm and end at Gupton Stadium.

May 26th: Mandatory Virtual Graduation Practice at 9:00 am

May 28th: 2021 Graduation will be held at Gupton Stadium at 8:00 pm.

Reporting Future Plan

The Class of 2021's achievements will be recognized during Senior Awards.
Several awards will be presented, including awards for
scholarship offers & military enlistments. In order for a Military Enlistment or Scholarship to be recognized, students must provide verification by completing one of the forms listed below.
You will be asked to upload copies of the scholarship offers (i.e. letters, emails, screen shots, etc) or signed enlistment in the Google Form.

Please complete a new form for
each scholarship offer that you receive.

Get on the "College Wall"

Wondering how you can be recognized and added to the VRHS College Wall?
Please complete the College Acceptance Reporting Form (2020-2021)
After completing this form, please stop by the counseling office to sign a pennant and post it on the College Wall.
As you receive multiple acceptance offers, please complete additional forms.

You are required to meet with your counselor in September to discuss this school year and post-graduation plans. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the steps required for college, career, & military planning and how counselors can support you through the process.
You can also view these slides for more information and then fill out this google form. When the form is submitted, you will receive a confirmation and steps to schedule the meeting.

Cool Week

Cool Week is structured, week-long, work-based learning experience for qualified 12th grade students in Leander ISD. Students are placed in a business or agency for a few days or a full week in a career field that they may otherwise not necessarily have access to observe. For more information on COOL Week, please visit the COOL Week Website (2019-2020)
*Students may only participate in up to 1 week of COOL Week. All COOL Week days must fall within the same week and can't be split between the 2 weeks.

I Applied Day Celebration- Students who have submitted a college application by TBD and have submitted proof will be invited to join us for the "I Applied Day" celebration on TBD in the lecture hall at 8:00 AM. Documentation must be uploaded to the "I Applied" Celebration form by TBD.

Pictures may be purchased the following day during ALL lunches in the Cafeteria (Cash, Check or Money Order is accepted. Checks made out to Goldbeck Company and must include a phone number on checks)
$25.00 1 large Panoramic, $35 for 1 large and 1 medium size panoramic, $45 for 1 large, 1 medium & 1 medium '21 formation

TBD: Project Graduation - It is still to be determined if we will have an in person project graduation. Regardless, we will still have the opportunity to celebrate our seniors virtually by entering their names in a drawing for prizes.
